“Aria Electrica” and “Time Goes By” are two previously unreleased pieces from the 2007 production sessions, recently rediscovered in the archive and now completed by Susanna Ridler.
They will be released in advance as singles and will appear on 16 January 2026 on the album “Greatest Little Hits I,” together with all original compositions from the first [koe:r] album released in 2008.
“Aria Electrica,” recorded in 2007 with soprano Monika Bruck, combines operatic vocal lines with electronically transformed staccato voices and beats — a fascinating interplay between two worlds that, in today’s era of AI-generated music, feels almost visionary.
“Time Goes By,” originally left unfinished, reflects the subjective sense of how quickly nearly two decades have passed.
